Surviving Life

Hey everyone! just thought that I would put out some random thoughts about the last couple of weeks. Halloween has come and gone faster then it arrived, i swear that life just keeps getting fast and faster and then the next thing you know you are counting down to a new year and you stop and think to yourself, "where did this year go!?" that is where i am at right now. I am in constant wonderment about where did this year go?

Lately my life has consisted of work, school and Haylie on the weekends which i absolutely love! I love being a mommy!! even if it is only for 3 to 4 days a week! She is the highlight of my life.

I have been currently working for Cafe Rio in their accounting department, but due to the horrible economy and that the industry is struggling with their sales and costs, i was layed off on Friday. this came to me as huge shock and blow straight to the gut. i didn't understand why me and 4 others were chosen but then you just have to stop and think that the Lord knows whats best and that things happen for a reason, but it is still hard to see the "hidden" blessings in this.

So currently i am out of work and wondering what the heck am i doing? what is going to be my next move? i have no idea, so if anyone has any good ideas, i would love to hear them! hehehe

well enough about my drama!! lets get to the fun stuff. Obviously everyone knows that Utah and BYU played this past weekend, well Grandpa Ebert has been teaching Haylie to cheer when there is a touchdown made and to throw her hands in the air as if she were the ref that just saw the play happen. this has been very entertaining and a great laugh to watch her every time there is a touchdown she throws her hands into the air and screams "Touchdown!" It is so cute! Grandpa had a blast on Saturday surrounded by three of his grand-daughters watching football and asking him to play and "come to dinner" after they have made something at their kitchen.

I am so excited for Thanksgiving and that Blaine, Scotty, and Tricia are going to be here!!! I cant wait! I wish that my whole family could be here, and Colby but due to work conflicts and such I wont see everyone till Christmas, but i still have much thanks to give to everyone!

Well i guess that that is a fast update on the last three weeks. I will post pictures of Haylie and grandpa playing in the yard, and swinging which is Haylies new favorite thing to do. I will also post a little video clip with Haylie screaming touchdown.

I hope that you have all enjoyed the blog! May the Lord bless you and your families in all you do! I love all of you and I cant wait to be with all of you soon!!!!

I"m sorry about the job too. If I hear anything you will be the first to know. I have to say though I am very impressed with your attitude - GOOD JOB. I'm sure something will work out!
