Mother's Day

So Mothers day this year was a very eventful one, to start off the day I was called to speak in my student ward, and let me tell you i cant remember when the last time it was that i was called to speak in church! i was terrified and thought that i was going to throw up the entire time! i was shaking and my hands were freazking cold!

I had about a week to prepare my talk, Mom and Dad informed me that they were going to be coming to my sacrament meeting that morning!! So that was great to talk on mothers and have mine there! I talked all about Mom! I made her cry and as everyone knows im a total bawler and i cried the entire time that i was giving my talk! hahahhah no surprised there!

After giving the best talk ever the bishop got up and thanked everyone who spoke, then he thanked me and told everyone that that was the best talk that he had ever heard and that we will looking forward to hearing from me in General Conference! hahahah it was funny.

Mothers day was a great day! i was looking forward to the time that Jonathan would be calling!

Here Jonathan is on his birthday, he was surprised by one of his investigators, they knew it was his birthday and they made him a cake and wrote him a card, it was really sweet and he was so surprised!
I miss him so much and i couldnt wait to talk to him, we talked to him for about 3hrs and i talked to him the most! it was great to hear how well he was doing and how much he loves his companion Elder Lomax. It was so inspiring to talk to him about me going on a mission and all that we will be doing while we are serving at the same time! what an awesome missionary he is!

Here he is with Elder Lomax looking at Elder Lomax's broken camara that had just fallen off the car..ooops
Jonathan was visited by our old ward Bishop and his wife just recently, here he is with his companions and Bishop Jackson, Jonathan is Zone Leader now!
This one was taken at the MTC not sure who these Elders are
Jonathan and Elder Lomax
Mom got some killer presents from the kids this year too, I gave her a picture of her and dad with all the granddaughters, and an apron that says "We both cant be nice, its either me or the house" it was really cute and she loved it. Blaine and Mel brought her a Nativity set from Peru and then Blaine had the best gift of all, he and Mel and a craft night and Blaine made her a gift from the heart.
We all had a great laugh over this, She loved it!
Moms mothers day rocked! Jonathan called and she was surounded by her family! We love you mom! thanks for always being a great example and loving us all unconditionally!
