This Weeks Adventures

This last week has been crazy for me. From getting through work and check run on Thursday to organizing and cleaning my house and getting it ready for guests. Colby arrived Friday night! that was so exciting. We went out that night to a scary movie that we both hated and felt that we should have left the theatre but stayed to see the ending of "NO Survivors!" after which we wanted to watch Little Mermaid to feel better.

Saturday morning consisted of getting Haylie and going down to Provo to hang out with his brothers. That was so fun! Joshua and Justin are so funny, I was rolling with laughter the whole time! That night we played Lego's. Haylie made a beautiful tower and Colby put a train together, I of course was in charge of picture duty.
Here she is with her Beautiful Tower that she was so proud of! This was the highlight of her night! As well as Colby's and mine. She was so happy she kept repeating "I did it!" Here is Colby ans his train that he was so proud of.

If you ever want to sit back and enjoy the simple pleasures in life, I highly recommend playing Lego's with your kids!

The rest of the weekend flew by. We visited old friends hung out with my family and also went to the traditional "Family Dinner" where we all sit around the table talking the latest politics, weather, changing economy and if I can get any words in we talk about the great shopping sprees that I went on or that I got my nails done and my hair done that week! Family dinner is my favorite thing to do. We are all very loud and love to be around each other and catch up on old times.

Just me being me! I love photos!!

Colby at the parents house! (Yes he survived his first family dinner!) YAYAYAYA

After dinner there was no time to do anything else. We took Haylie home and then dashed to the airport! What an AWESOME weekend!!!!

looks like fun. So does his daughter live here, if you took her home before going to the airport?

Oh, Erica, you hit family dinners spot on. Now I'm homesick. (and shhh...don't tell Chris or Emily, but I always enjoyed your shopping sprees and nails way more than the politics!)
